Jonathan Sadowski may not have that box office hit under his belt yet, but the talented Hollywood actor and producer has proven himself a force to be reckoned with in the movie industry. You may have seen him in movies like She’s The Man with actress Amanda Bynes, Live Free or Die Hard alongside Bruce Willis, or in the American slasher film Friday the 13th with Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki.
The actor has strived to be noticed in the Hollywood scene and we believe that in the not too distant future, he’ll be starring in that role that will shoot his career to the next level.
Jonathan Sadowski’s Bio
Jonathan Sadowski was born in Chicago Illinois on the 23rd of November 1979. His parents, Marirose and Robert Sadowski are of Italian and Polish descent respectively. He attended Mount Carmel High School and later enrolled in the University of Illinois where he studied and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theater.
After graduating from the university, Sadowski moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood. Just like many hopefuls before him, he started off waiting tables and bartending, and before long, he had booked his first feature film.
Movies And TV Shows
Jonathan Sadowski’s on-screen career began officially in 2000 with an appearance as himself on the MTV show ET. His trail went cold for almost three years until he appeared in an episode of the acclaimed military crime drama series NCIS.
In 2004, he was cast as the character Bruce Kelso in an episode of the police drama series The Division. Sadowski’s roles were so few and far between that he didn’t make an appearance until two years later with his first movie She’s The Man. The movie, based on William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, saw Sadowski playing the role of a gay man opposite leads Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum.
2007 was a busy year for Jonathan Sadowski and saw him take on four different roles in one movie and three television series. He was cast in a season of the comedy-drama series Entourage, and was given a minimal role in the movie Live Free or Die Hard with Bruce Willis portraying the lead character. He also played a doctor in two episodes of the popular medical drama series House and appeared in an episode of Chuck.
At this point, Sadowski’s roles were limited to television series appearances and small roles in whatever movies came his way. In 2008, he appeared in three episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a spinoff of the Terminator film series.
Jonathan Sadowski continued to get cast in B-list movies, and in 2009, starred in three – Friday the 13th, Spring Breakdown, The Goods: Live Hard Sell Hard were all box office flops.
In 2010, Sadowski finally got cast as a main character in the sitcom S#*! My Dad Says, however, luck seemed to not be on his side as the show got cancelled after only one year on the air. After the disaster of the show, Sadowski starred as the lead character in the 2012 horror film Chernobyl Diaries.
Sadowski’s longest running appearance on any series came in 2014. He was cast as the lead in the sitcom Young & Hungry, opposite Emily Osment as the lead female, where he plays the character of Josh Kaminski, a tech entrepreneur and millionaire. The show ran for five seasons before it finally concluded on the 25th of July 2018.
Since Young & Hungry, Sadowski has been cast in Sirens, a 2015 television series which only aired for two seasons. He appeared in three episodes of the police series Lethal Weapon (2018), and an appearance as himself on two episodes of the cooking show Chopped. Sadowski’s last movie appearance to date was in the directorial debut of actress Aisha Tyler‘s Axis.
Wife Or Fiancee?
John Sadowski lives a fairly private life. Therefore, it came as a shock when in 2015, the actor proposed to stylist Melissa Lynn, whom he’d apparently been dating since 2010.
Besides pictures of the couple on social media, there seems to be no news of an impending wedding. Nevertheless, the same social media posts show that the couple seems to be very happy and are enjoying their long engagement.
Jonathan Sadowski Net Worth
Sadowski is yet to get a big break in his acting career and his series of small roles have done nothing to earn him big bucks. While it’s still something to be proud of, Sadowski has only garnered a net worth of $4 million.
The actor isn’t one to complain though, as he’s very content living the simple life.
